Poppy Playtime Chapter 5 is packed with hidden items, including cassette tapes, Outimal plushies, hidden notes, memory items, ID collectibles, and secret room rewards. Some collectibles are easy to spot, while others are missable if you progress too far.
This guide is organized by area, not by story order, so you can backtrack efficiently and avoid missing anything. Full spoilers below.

Several items are missable if you enter loading zones before collecting them.
Opening Factory & Chase Section Collectibles
This area includes the conveyor belts, vent routes, and first major drop.
Hidden Note Behind Movable Block
After swinging across the grapple point early in the chapter, look left for a movable block with a faint light behind it.
- Pull it forward using both hands.
- Enter the small gap behind it.
- Collect the hidden paper.
This is easy to miss because players rush forward after escaping Huggy.
Vent Hallway Paper
After stacking boxes to reach the upper platform:
- Remove the vent cover with the blue hand.
- Before leaving the small room, check corners for a note.
- Use boxes again to climb into the vent.
Basement & Outimal Section Collectibles
Once you lose your Grabpack, exploration slows down.
Control Room Note
After pressing the red button in the small control room, check the floor behind the door once you exit. There is a note near the doorway.
Bathroom Hidden Note
When following blacklight arrows: Two bathroom doors appear on the left. Enter the right one. Crouch into the small hideout area. Collect hidden paper. This one is frequently missed.
Bindle Boogie Plush
Between two cardboard “homes” near box stacks, you’ll find the Bindle Boogie plush sitting between structures. Look low — not on shelves.
Boiler Room & Pressure Hand Area Collectibles
This area includes the dinosaur room and locker puzzle.
Locker Area Cassette (Code 0859)
After entering the locker code: Before leaving the office, check behind the desk and shelves. Cassette tape is often placed nearby.
Dinosaur Room Cassette
Climb the dinosaur tail to retrieve your Grabpack. Before progressing: Check the walkway edges. There is a cassette on a ledge in this area.
Hidden Floor Hole Plush
After moving the pressure crate: Drop down into the floor hole beneath. Follow crawlspace. Collect Outimal Doll plush. Many players miss this by crossing the crate immediately.
Biodiversity Lab Collectibles
This section hides several items behind vents and tank puzzles.
Hidden Vent Note
Near plant enclosures: Break vent inside plant section. Crawl inside. Collect note about Limon.
Tank Room Cassette
After solving pipe energy puzzle: Enter adjacent office. Cassette located on desk or cart. Always check desks before triggering sanitization doors.
Limon Statue Collectible
In fog-filled lab room: Scan both hand scanners. Clear fog. Collect statue collectible. Also check lower cabinets nearby for hidden code fragments.
Engineering Wing Collectibles
This is one of the densest collectible areas.
Ceiling Mechanism Note
Before climbing pallets: Check behind movable carts. Hidden letter is placed near back wall.
Crate Rack Cassette
After powering keypad with battery: Before entering code, inspect crate racks. Cassette may sit near incorrect crate rack. Use blacklight to scan surroundings.
Magnetic Tile Plush
During rotating mechanism section: After powering triple rod electricity puzzle, check newly opened side room. Plush reward inside.
Memory Room Collectibles
This area includes multiple projector rooms.
Projector Area Tape
Inside one of the side rooms: Look on floor near chair. Cassette visible after powering room.
Emotion Keypad Room Tape
After entering emotion code: Happy, Happy, Disgust, Sad, Fear. Door next to keypad opens. Cassette inside this room is missable if you proceed forward too quickly.
Red Fog Valve Room Cassette
Before entering fog room: Look across gap for tape near broken light. Use blacklight to identify safe valve order first.
Lilly Mansion Collectibles
This area contains several hidden items.
Piano Room Note
In room with piano: Check bookshelf for note. Required for correct key order.
Lilly Bedroom ID Collectible
Under Lilly’s bed: Pull star at bed base. Open compartment. ID card collectible next to skeleton. One of the most important story collectibles.
Basement Hidden Space Items
After moving wall panel: Use magnetic tiles to reach hidden zone. Collect notes near energy source.
Final Backup & Medical Area Collectibles
Late-game area contains many small hidden items.
Goo Chamber Cassette
Before draining goo: Check corner near crate stack. Cassette often hidden along ledge.
Override Computer Area Tape
After crawling through vent near Giblet: Look over crate edge before dropping. Tape on lower ledge.
Surgical Room Locker Tape
Inside medical room: Code revealed with invisible ink (blacklight). Locker contains final tape in this section.
Missable Collectibles (Important)
These can be permanently skipped:
